Haanh Nguyen's post on Goodwall - Being on the school student government team since my Sophomore year, I think my proudest achievement is removing the school's policy on hair color. As we move toward a more open community, hair color is a way to express our identity, and having policies suppressing that could negatively affect our freedom of self-expression. So, after countless meetings, I finally persuaded the school board to remove the policy of "having natural hair colored."
