I volunteered to help with the Lewis and Clark Elementary Science Night as part of my NHS community service. My participation was to man the paper airplane station. Elementary students could come by and make an airplane (I would guide them if they needed help) and toss it to see how far it went. Then they would make alterations to their planes to make them go farther. I answered questions about aerodynamics and ways they could make their planes fly farther. It was a really fun and informative night for both the kids and for me.
