According to Food And Agriculture Association of the United Nations 1/3 of the food is either gets lost or wasted every year. We can reduce food wastage by: 1.Buying the leftover fruits and vegetables by the stores which are only rejected because they not look perfect and sell it through some applications in phone in a less price than the perfect ones. 2.By distributing the leftovers of weddings ,parties or any event to the needy people.or one dish events can be a better way of reducing food. 3.Providing awareness about the food waste from the very basic level in schools can also help. 4.Placing food in a plastic bags to preserve it. 5.Using FIFO method First In First Out and avoiding stock. 6.Instead of Buy one get one free offer,distributing the product to the needy people make it worth in reducing food wastage. 7. Social media and digital media can play a vital role in reduction of food waste by advertisements, and some emotional concerns towards deserving people. 8.Improving the food quality to avoid the wastage. 9.Making enough food to eat for collected people in a particular time ,neglecting the extra food to get left. 10.Machine learning is also playing an important role in reducing food wastage. ML works on vast data that helps in detecting types of food and their demands to manage them efficiently. These technologies are serving in unimaginable ways with various innovative tools. Let’s join hands to reduce food wastes. Always remember, "there is enough for everyone’s need but not for everyone’s greed! "
