Michael Gavilánez's post on Goodwall - As a teenager, I sometimes find myself not paying enough attention to essential matters, such as climate action. I would impulsively underrate the importance of little initiatives, for instance, saving energy, reducing the use of plastic, saving water, among others. I have told myself that there are bigger, and more impactful ways to protect our planet. Yes!, improving the law towards the industry is important. But so is the impact (good or bad) that every single human has on Earth. If people in the past had thought the way I do sometimes (I admit it). Many big changes wouldn’t have happened. The way the government works is the result of personal ideas that been shared and developed through people’s lives. By creating an environmental culture we are not just reducing the impact of people in their immediate environment, we are also establishing the basics of tomorrow’s government behavior. And that’s the greatest value of little, yet big, movements, such as #EarthHour. #climate
