Piţurlea Adalbert's post on Goodwall - CocaCola was one of my favorite drink, especially with zero sugar. I thought it surely was better, until I read that sweeteners are giving the same signal on pancreas to release insulin as sugars. Even worse, as a quantity much sweeter than sugar is needed to be felt, so more insulin is released. Thus, the brain is fooled that there is some sugar intake but finds none, although still spikes insulin. You can become diabetic even if you never used sugar. Plus other bad ingredients…🫣🤯 #FoodTalks
