Ellen Sobrinho's post on Goodwall - Hi! my name is Ellen Sobrinho and this year i am developing a project together with my colleague Lucas Crippa. The name of our project is called Eyes Communication: Device that helps in the communication of patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The objective of this study and its development is to propose and eyeglass model that meets the communicative needs of patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, through eye movement, aiming reduce the energy expenditure of the patient. The method as we want to give this assistance is to develop a model of glasses in which it will be connected with software, and during your eye movement you will transfer all your information to an application that will be able to convert it into a message to the individual that the patient wants to communicate with.
