Emmanuel Maduabuchi's post on Goodwall - My idea is on revolutionising the way people view trash. With more than 300, 000 metric tonnes of waste generated daily in Nigeria and 85% of those wastes end on land fills and this poses a great challenge. So my idea is to remodel solid wastes into sustainable eco-friendly products. This will be done by addressing the growing waste disposal problem while increasing the rare of recyclable material supplies for companies to put back into their manufacturing supply chain thereby reducing. This idea will provide employment opportunities for Nigerian youths. As more than 30 million Nigerian youths are unemployed with 75% being unemployable. This project will train youths on waste remodelling technology and impact then to become self-employed. #017summerchallenge3
