ABU Cats Club's post on Goodwall - Our unsung hero at ABU Zaria, was the late Professor Krzysztof Schoeneich. He was a guardian of the natural world who fought against the felling of trees and walked everywhere to reduce his carbon footprint. His true heroism lay in his voluntary care for the campus cats, a legacy we are trying to emulate through ABU Cats Club. He diligently fed and cared for them. This act of compassion only came to light after his passing when many cats died due to starvation, sickness, and malnourishment.
