Giovana Barbiani's post on Goodwall - The E-HUB project aims, with the help of a real time, automatic analysis and monitoring system, to promote an environmental management more effective than the ones nowadays, in order to reduce the number of wildfires, hydric resources contaminations, soil contaminations, and others, so the population life quality is enhanced. This would be possible through a data collection and dispatch system able to share informations about the characteristics of specific regions, where an algorithm analyzes the information and creates a real time diagnosis. Therefore, the whole goal of this work is to build an eletronic system capable of monitoring changes on the environmental quality standards through sensing and show them automatically and in real time to an Android app, to inform users and generate an efficient environmental management. This system has a microcontroller Raspberry Pi3 B model, conected via Wi-Fi to the app and the followings sensors: humidity soil sensor, environmental humidity and temperature sensor, flame sensor, smoke and flammable gases sensor, water, rain and liquids sensor and a vibration sensor. Then, the data is read and sent to the app through the microcontroller.
