Stacy Idundun's post on Goodwall - The #Portrait reminded me of the first time I had a shoot, it was an eventful and exhilarating experience. The concept of the shoot was to take pictures of me dressed up as a kalabari bride, an Ethnic group I barely knew anything about, as I was being decked up in the beautiful attire, I was educated on what every piece I was ought to wear represents and the story of how the kalabari bride started dressing up in the attire. The experience made me realize how photography can be used to educate.
