Renewable energy is meant to solve this issue but, solar panels, in particular, are expensive and produce toxic wastes such as lead. The sun is an infinite power source and investing in the technological advancement of solar power will ensure that future generations have a stable source of energy that is both healthy and domestic. The purpose of this study is to compare the efficiencies of six different graphite-based solar panels. There will be two panels of each type of cathode (Aluminum, Copper, and Magnesium). The difference between each pair of panels (within each cathode type) will be its type of electrolyte (Potassium iodide or Sodium Hydroxide).
