As the Founder and Executive Director of Social Change Factory, an African Civic Leadership Center, Sobel designs and implements local, regional and continental programs and initiatives that aim at empowering youth to become next generation citizens: engaged, informed and equipped with the relevant skills and the right values for creating just and sustainable communities.

Venoranda Rebeccca Kuboka’s area of expertise is social work and counselling psychology. She has worked in the field of Reproductive Health and Rights for over five years, with the aim of empowering, promoting social change and advocating for issues affecting young people.

Currently she is the team leader at Youth Changers Kenya which is a grassroots organization that aims at promoting Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRH&R) through building the capacity of girls and young people from the Limuru and Nairobi areas.

Nhial Deng is based in the Kakuma refugee camp and has lived there for the last ten years. His work revolves around advocacy, quality education, peacebuilding, mentorship, mental health, youth empowerment with a focus on digital skills, human rights, and social entrepreneurship. He heads the Refugee Youth Peace Ambassadors and is an Education Consultant for the Kakuma Innovation Lab School.

Linda Kwamboka is an entrepreneur and passionate startup mentor and innovation ecosystem builder in Africa. She is a pioneer in Kenya’s Agri-tech industry spanning 10 years, and a thought leader in food systems. Aside from siting at the board of Afrilabs - the largest Innovation Hub Network in Africa, Linda is an entrepreneur in residence at Strathmore University, supporting the @iBizAfrica Incubator. She is a Global Innovation Catalyst Fellow and Instructor with a background in VC training from Stanford University.

A 20-year-old Algerian change-maker with a minor in Computer Science.

His vision is to modernize the Algerian educational system by changing what and how students are being taught.

Rhuks is a Senior Analyst in the Conflict Prevention and Early Warning Division of the Peace and Security Department at the African Union Commission. He co-convenes the Youth for Peace Africa Program.

Rehmah Kasule is the Founder of CEDA International in Uganda and the USA, and a Senior Fellow of Harvard Advanced Leadership Initiative. She is a civil society champion, social innovator, and a serial entrepreneur who started her marketing business at 26 years. In 2007, she founded CEDA International to shift mind-sets and build generations of ethical and values-based leaders and entrepreneurs. Her work has skilled and mentored 168,000+ youth and women across Africa, and was recognized by President Barack Obama, and won the Fortune/Goldman Sachs Global Women Leaders Award. Rehmah is a Let Girls Learn Global Ambassador and was named one of the Most Influential African Women in government and civil society in 2016.

Efe Ukala is the founder of ImpactHER, an impact driven organization that focuses on bridging the financing gap for women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Africa through investor-readiness training, mentorship, market access, and other support. ImpactHER has supported over 15,000 African female entrepreneurs in 48 African countries, on a pro bono basis, on how to run successful businesses and become investor-ready.

A pioneer at the intersection of media, democracy, and social change, Adebola has been profiled by

and television began in the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) with advocacy for youth and good
governance. He later became presenter for Economy Watch at 17 and producer of Nigeria
International which aired in Nigeria, the US and Europe at 19.

In 2017, Adebola was named The African Young Achiever by EMYGhana and recognized as one of the
100 Most Influential People of African Descent under the United Nations international decade for
people of African descent.

Moreover, Adebola was invited to join the Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), and was recently appointed a United Nations
Global Champion for Generation Unlimited (GenU).

Sanda Ojiambo is the Executive Director of the United Nations Global Compact. Ms. Ojiambo brings 20 years of experience to lead the UN Global Compact. She has served as Head of Sustainable Business and Social Impact, Safaricom Plc, Kenya since 2010. Ms. Ojiambo was also the Senior Manager of Safaricom and MPESA Foundations, Kenya from 2008 to 2010, during which she led the implementation of several public-private partnership initiatives between Safaricom and UN organizations.
