3 Reasons Why Every Entrepreneur Should Pitch Ideas on Goodwall

Goodwall just announced their virtual elevator pitch for sharing ideas. But why pitch ideas on Goodwall? Here are 3 great reasons.

You’ve probably got a lot of ideas—

Whether they’re world-changing ideas on how to combat rising sea levels or smaller ones, like a unique concept for a new burger sauce, they need to be shared.

As with pent-up emotions, ideas are begging to be released. Sharing an idea with someone gives it the sounding board it needs to keep it alive and take it to the next level.

However, with whom should you share your idea?

Goodwall has introduced the virtual elevator pitch, a 30-second vertical video for sharing great ideas with a community of more than 1 million members in 150+ countries.

Here are 3 great reasons for pitching ideas on Goodwall:

1. Support

Without support, great ideas are forgotten or abandoned. However, by pitching your idea on Goodwall as a “virtual elevator pitch,” (a modern form of the traditional elevator speech) the entire Goodwall community is there to help. If you need motivation or encouragement, you’ll find it on Goodwall. Same for entrepreneurial inspiration or assistance with developing your idea into a working product or service.

And, if you need a feedback group, conceptual suggestions, or constructive criticism, it’s there at your fingertips. By leveraging the Goodwall community for crowdsourced support, your idea is all but certain to gain traction and overcome any obstacles in its way.

2. Audience

Over 1 million members from 150+ countries—

Goodwall has a global reach. And, as a community built for students, young professionals, and entrepreneurs, you can be sure your idea will reach the right people.

Aside from the support and encouragement Goodwall’s diverse members provide, you will find partners, investors, mentors, and perhaps even your cofounder right there on the app. It’s the new way to network for 2020 and beyond.

3. Award

Want another reason why sharing your good idea on Goodwall is itself a good idea?

How about 1,000 reasons?

Goodwall is committed to supporting Global Entrepreneurship Week by inspiring young entrepreneurs to share their ideas.

Along with the University of Geneva and the Geneva Tsinghua Initiative, Goodwall is hosting a global competition with a $1,000 prize. Through November and December, applicants are encouraged to pitch their idea as a 30-second vertical video on the Goodwall platform. The community will vote for the 25 most innovative ideas to be chosen as finalists. The overall winner will be awarded the Good Idea Award 2019.

But, that’s not all. The winner will also be featured on Goodwall’s social media channels and website to promote their idea and give it the recognition it deserves.

Additionally, they will get the chance to network with a variety of influential investors, entrepreneurs, students, and mentors to help turn  their idea into a reality. The deadline for pitching ideas to win the Good Idea Award is December 31, 2019.
